Brief history

At the beginning of the 1990s, answering the needs of a few customers who were making continuous requests, Liscor launches the production of software establishing a special division apt to support the consulting activity. The first informational products conceived and sold by Liscor are “tailored-made”, that is customer custom-made, because this type of activity is initially considered by the company as a sort of supplementary service to the prevalent consulting activity.

In 1993, releasing its first back office system – a software which, unlike the previous ones, manages the entire company efficiency – Liscor becomes to all intents and purposes a downright software house. It is a turning point: for the first time, the software production activity prevails on the consulting one, and Liscor creates its first product characterized by parametrical type logics which can be perfectly personalized to different contexts and societies.

Between 1995 and 1996, Liscor starts cooperating with San Paolo Leasint, and begins the development of Front Office solutions aimed at marketing of financial services in remote dealers. The possibility of converting in Web based systems is embedded in these solutions, even though these cannot still make use of Internet. The subsequent arrival of Internet upholds the value of these products, and allows the company to combine the considerable efficiency of its solutions with a truly capillary diffusion, not only in the banking network but also in Vendor and brokers networks as well. The front end platform delivering to BNL-Locafit, web based, is the clear evidence of this process.

Liscor decides in 1998 to enrich the solutions offering with a dedicated back office accounting module, whose features are specific to the credit sector so as to simplify considerably the burden of complying with regulatory measures that the financial agents have to fulfil. Among the first customers interested in this peculiarity are the financial public companies belonging to regional administration,  firstly Finlombarda and Friulia, and a little bit later Veneto Sviluppo and Finmolise.

The new millennium starts with the cooperation between Liscor and some of the most prestigious international Group of Vendor Finance, who choose the system Forward for managing their operations in Italy. Among these De Lage Landen, Franfinance and GE Capital Equipment Finance.

In 2003 Liscor faces the topic of middle office, through the proposal of a Web oriented software which constitutes the connecting element between the basic front office themes and the ones that concern back office.

2004 is an important year for Liscor, starting its first collaboration with UniCredit Group in Russia with regard to the Back Office local solution.

At the beginning of 2007 with the objective of developing the offer of products and services of the company in western Europe, Liscor Iberica S.L., a controlled company based in Madrid, is founded. The same year an important partnership agreement is signed with Société Générale Equipment Finance Group, which chooses Liscor software as its middle and front office corporate platform for its international subsidiaries.

Still during the course of 2007, a new initiative enterprise named B2F (Business to Finance, www.b2f.eu) becomes operative. This is an online financial portal developed by Liscor, available on a Software As A Service convention, based upon a special web operational platform able to integrate the financial market with different distribution networks (Vendors, Brokers).

In 2008 Liscor has been selected by UniCredit Leasing as provider of the end-to-end paneuropean platform. In this way Forward becomes the "Core" solution chosen by the biggest leasing Group in Europe. As a consequence of the UniCredit Leasing project, and because of the many opportunities of the eastern european zone, Liscor created in 2011 its bridgehead in Bucharest with the opening of its subsidiaries “FORWARD SOFTWARE” (www.forwardsoftware.ro)
